Shedeur Sanders Gives Closer Look At Nikes Big 12 Jersey Months After Another Cu Prodigys Tease

Shedeur Sanders Gives Closer Look at Nike’s Big 12 Jersey, Months After Another CU Prodigy’s Tease

Sanders Continues Legacy with Buffs Brand

Shedeur Sanders, Colorado Buffaloes quarterback and son of NFL and college football icon Deion Sanders, recently gave fans a sneak peek at Nike’s Big 12 jersey via his Instagram.

The post marks the second time in recent months that a CU football player has teased the new uniforms. In February, wide receiver commit Makai Starks tweeted a photo of himself wearing a similar black Nike jersey, sparking speculation that the Buffaloes were set to unveil a new look for the upcoming season.

The black jerseys, which feature a bold gold stripe down the side, are a departure from the team’s traditional uniforms, which have typically been white or light blue. The new jerseys are expected to be worn during Big 12 conference games.

A Fresh Look for a New Era

The new uniforms are just one of several changes that have been made to the CU football program since Sanders took over as head coach in December 2020.

Sanders has brought a new energy and excitement to the program, and he has quickly made a name for himself as one of the rising stars in college football coaching.

The Buffs are coming off of a 4-8 season in 2021, but Sanders is confident that the team can improve in 2022. With a talented roster that includes Shedeur Sanders and Starks, the Buffs have the potential to be a surprise team in the Big 12.
