The Stars, on the other hand, are looking to extend their lead and take a commanding 3-0 advantage. Dallas has won the first two games of the series in overtime, with both games decided by a single goal.
In Game 2, Mattias Janmark and Leon Draisaitl scored less than one minute apart in the second period to give the Oilers a 2-0 lead. However, the Stars rallied back in the third period with goals from Joe Pavelski and Esa Lindell to tie the game. Dallas ultimately won the game in overtime on a goal from Roope Hintz.
