Chicago Cubs shortstop Dansby Swanson has been placed on the 10-day injured list retroactive to July 6, 2023, due to a left wrist injury.
The injury occurred during Saturday's game against the Cincinnati Reds when Swanson swung and missed at a fastball in the second inning. He immediately grabbed his wrist and left the game.
